SSC CGL Result 2020
SSC CGL 2019 Tier 1 exam was conducted successfully in various shifts from 3rd to 9th March 2020 for the Group “B” & Group “C” posts in various Government departments. With the completion of the exam, SSC released the answer key of the exam with the response sheet of the candidates on 15th March 2020 to let the candidates check their answers, and to raise objections against any answer/question if any. Now, SSC will release the SSC CGL Result 2020 Cut off soon with the list of selected candidates for the SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam, after the due considering the objections raised by the candidates against the answer sheet.

SSC CGL Tier 1 result 2020
The candidates can check their SSC CGL Tier-1Result by visiting the official website of the commission, www.ssc.nic.in on the declaration of the result. Every year around 30 lakh candidates apply for the appearing in the Tier 1 of the exam, out of which less than half appears in the exam. Of the total number of candidates appear in the Tier-1 exam only 1-1.5 lakh around candidates clear the SSC CGL Tier-I result cut-off to get qualified for the Tier-2 exam. This year’s SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was commenced from 3rd to 9th March 2020 at various centers in the country. The Tier-II of the exam is conducted to further filter the candidates to get the most eligible candidates for the Group “B” & Group “C” post in Central Government Department/offices. The SSC CGL 2019 Tier 2 exam scheduled to be held from 22nd to 25th June 2020 but there is a possibility of getting delayed due to novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. It is also advised to continue with hard work + smart work to get selected as delay in the exam would not be for long.
SSC CGL Result 2020- Tie Breaking Criteria
If the candidates in SSC CGL (Tier 1 + Tier 2 + Tier 3) examination get an equal score then the merit of the candidates will be decided on the below-given criteria as decided by the commission, one after another, till the tie gets resolved:
- Total marks of the relevant papers in the Tier 2 Examination.
- Total marks in Tier 3 Examination.
- Date of birth, with the older candidate, placed higher.
- Alphabetical order in which the names of the candidates appear.

Step 1: Visit the official Commission website of SSC, www.ssc.nic.in. or click on the direct link provided on the top and bottom of the page.
Step 2: Go to the Result section and click on the “SSC CGL” tab.
Step 3: Click on the link provided under the “SSC CGL” Tab for downloading the result in PDF format.
Step 4: Open the file. The selected candidates list will appear. Now, press “Ctrl + F” and enter your name or Roll number.
Step 5: Press Enter. If you are qualified, your name will appear, otherwise not.
Step 6: Press “Ctrl +P” to take the printout of the result for future reference.
